Advance Camp September 23-24
We met up at around 4:00pm at the Saint Ann Church, and then
we headed to advance camp. There were 19 people in total and
the drive was 2 hours long. We set up camp on an open field,
with a lot of other scouts. We had all our tents up within
15 minutes. This camp was mainly for finishing merit
badges and other various rank requirements. We had a lot of
fun at night, the scouts were talking, running around
(perhaps playing tag, or chasing each other). Some of the
scouts were repetitively shouting "I am a stegosaurus"
for reasons that are unknown. In the morning we got ready
for our am merit badge classes which started at 8:30pm.
After flags, everyone dispersed for their merit badge
classes, and the scouts returned for lunch at around
12pm. The second class was at 1pm, and everyone went to
their appropriate classes. At 5 pm we were all tired
and exhausted, but we had one last thing to do. Community
service for the camp, so we all did a trash sweep in the
multipurpose Room and we all took off at around 5:20, and we
came back to the church at around 6:40pm.
